In a second-year University module, titled Client Server Technologies, I was required to produce a travel itinerary hybrid application. This application would be available to desktop devices, and also packaged to Phonegap to allow installation on Android devices.
While the project does use the jQuery Mobile UI, it has been upgraded with custom styling and layouts. This gives the application an original feel, which supports the user’s experience.
The aim of this project was to create a login and registration system, that could successfully post and get data from an SQL server. This was extended upon in my application with the ability to create and view itineraries.
