Music Sound and Video

Technologies used: Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D.

Music, Sound and Video was a module studied in my first year at Teesside University. The module consisted of two separate assignments, a podcast, and a video.

The first assignment required that I create a podcast on a given topic, however, after discussing topics with the lecturer I negotiated my own topic. The podcast would now be The Life and Times of Alecia Moore, aka the singer / songwriter P!NK. The podcast was 2 minutes long, it was fully recorded by myself, and edited to improve quality and appeal.

You can listen to the podcast via the audio player below:

The second assignment of this module required the creation of a video. The topic I chose was to create a tutorial video, specifically a guide to How to Ultrakey in Premiere Pro. I explored several settings and methods within the video, using stock footage to provide a descriptive tutorial. I added a music track, and created high-quality audio.

The assignment’s criteria required a low quality video, this was to allow uploading to the University’s submission system, which has limited file size capabilities. To accompany the low quality video, I included the HD version, which I uploaded to YouTube.

In addition to the tutorial, I created an animated introduction using Cinema 4D, and also a bespoke animation to use alongside the stock footage.
